One of our favorite additions to the backyard has been our firepit. We love to roast marshmellows and make smores (when we are not burning the marshmellows, of course). The other day Hannah came over and we had a marshmellow roast. Gentry is independent and had to hold her own roasting stick with the marshmellows...but after a few seconds she got impatient, so she just ate the untoasted marshmellow. After a couple of those we soon found her abandoned stick. Looking around we finally noticed that she had made her way over to the marshmellow bag. She had it in one arm, a marshmellow in the other hand, and a marshmellow in her mouth. Needless to say, our marshmellow squirrel had a hard time going to bed that night. Friday, March 28, 2008
