The girls got their dance pictures back this week. They turned our really cute and the girls are so excited for their recital next week. Maybe I can post the video if I remember to take the video camera.

Here is momma nervously posing for the camera. We've been leaving her alone for the most part, but it's times like these that she has second thoughts about where she built her nest. We should see some babies in about 12 to 16 days. We'll post pictures when they come. Pretty exciting stuff around the Leggat house!
T'was a blustery day when Gentry took out her Dora kite for its maiden flight. At first, Dora just sat there on the ashen tundra, almost taunting Gentry with her evil Dora smirk. "I am not intimidated by your infantile ways, Dora" Gentry exclaimed. "Off the ground you go, you plastic imitation of cartoon entertainment", she continued, with growing impatience.
But clever Dora had other plans. She would not go down...or up...without a fight. With the skill only a cartoon kite could employ, she adjusted in the tumultuous wind and careened herself off of Gentry's strange metal steed, and with the cruelty of Swiper the Fox...
...glared at poor Gentry with her unblinking auburn eyes. "I am not your servant, you childish fiend! Your adorable smile and rosy cheeks will not make me submit to your pulling and yanking..and tugging and dragging! That drooling and snotty nose offends my prismacolor essence. I must teach you a lesson about cheap plastic kites that you will never forget, little Gentry!"
Yesterday while doing yard work Bryan discovered this bird's nest right on one of the posts on our porch. It is so cool to see up close. There aren't any eggs in it yet, nor have we seen a bird in it, but there has been a little red robin flying around our yard lately. This bird has a great view of our den. It probably liked hearing Kali play the piano. This is one reason I love spring so much. It seems like there is so much to discover when we can go outside. I'm glad this find was not a black widow, centipede, or other creepy insect.
