Easter

Easter was a lot of fun. The girls first got their baskets from us with very little candy, then went to Grandma and Grandpa's and loaded up! Gentry loved the Easter egg hunt. Some of the eggs had money in them, which Gentry gladly traded with the other girls for the "real stuff." Aidan got over $10, Kali got about $8. They were both very excited to get a little cash. We've all been helping Gentry get rid of her stash.

Posing with Aunt Jenna.

Gentry hunting for eggs.

Family dinner after the egg hunt.

Bryan pretending to be interested in the girls's baskets but really wanting to get his favorite candy before they eat it.

Fire Pit Fun

One of our favorite additions to the backyard has been our firepit. We love to roast marshmellows and make smores (when we are not burning the marshmellows, of course). The other day Hannah came over and we had a marshmellow roast. Gentry is independent and had to hold her own roasting stick with the marshmellows...but after a few seconds she got impatient, so she just ate the untoasted marshmellow. After a couple of those we soon found her abandoned stick. Looking around we finally noticed that she had made her way over to the marshmellow bag. She had it in one arm, a marshmellow in the other hand, and a marshmellow in her mouth. Needless to say, our marshmellow squirrel had a hard time going to bed that night.

Off Track Activities

Whenever the girls are off track we try to keep ourselves busy. In addition to swimming lessons and piano, we try to do two or three things a week. We have a membership to the Living Planet Aquarium and always go there. We also do a little shopping, a little cleaning, and a whole lot of dropping in on dad at work. We watched his school talent show which was a lot of fun. We went to the Children's Museum at Gateway with cousin Lily. Gentry had a great time...the older girls were a little bored. But at least now we can say we have been there!

Hair

The girls are off track right now so we made a trip to the salon. They think Lexie our hairdresser is the best around. (And she is!) They each got to look through magazines and pick a style that they liked. Kali decided to get a perm. I think our 80's influence has finally gotten to her. Atleast she didn't want to feather her hair! Aidan decided to get bangs. I think it makes her look totally different. Gentry, however, did not get anything done to her hair. This is how Gentry's hair always looks. Even when I attempt to style it ... 5 minutes later it looks just like this. Well, maybe having one eye covered with hair will help strengthen the other eye.

Daddy's Girl

I love this picture! Everyday Gentry looks forward to seeing her dad come home from work. When Bryan walks in the door she runs to greet him. And Bryan loves that someone besides the dog runs to greet him at the door. He secretly wishes I would do it! All three of our girls really love their dad. He knows just how to calm down a house full of women!

We are currently trying to come up with a title for this posting. Here are some ideas that we have come up with.
1. Posin' with my pink boots.
2. "This is the place."
3. GAP Baby
4. Waiting for juice (Refer to right side of blog)
Let us know if any of you have some great ideas.
