AIM

Every year Kali participates in AIM (Achievement In Music). This program consists of various tests in sight reading, ear training, performing, and scales, then they have a written test and an oral report. The tests are taken in a 3 day period. Kali's composite score was 96 percent. It is amazing how easy she makes playing the piano look. We are very proud of her accomplishments again this year. How my husband made my life easier!

My "can do everything" husband built organizers into the kids' closets. Wow, what a difference it has made! We now have room for things that had no space before. We owe it all to Uncle Kevin who taught us the importance of having a well organized closet.

Closets like this should be standard for every home. I don't know how I got by without them. Thanks for all the long weekends you spent on these closets honey, you are amazing. You have made my life a little easier.

Baby's new room

I told myself that I wasn't going to redo the baby's room, but that all changed when I shook the 8 year old crib and it almost fell apart. Now this is my favorite room. I think it is funny how you just don't have any money to get anything for your babies until you have the last one. It is kind of unfortunate! But this has been a fun makeover, and all the girls have placed their bids for the room when the baby is old enough to sleep in a regular bed. We'll have to see who gets it...I am not looking forward to that fight!



My mom bought us the cute crib, and I got the bedding from Downeast Home. I love that store..pottery barn at its cheapest!



My sister and brother-in-law bought us the rocker for Christmas. I have never had a decent rocker with any of my kids. I absolutely love this one, it is so comfortable!



We have two dressers in this room because there is not room in Gentry's room. This is the only drawback, but one I can live with.
